Edinburgh-based private client solicitor, Murray Beith Murray, has announced a number of internal promotions across its Asset Protection and Property groups.

Fraser Scott, who has been with Murray Beith Murray since 2015, has been promoted from Senior Solicitor to Associate. Fraser works in the firm’s Asset Protection group and specialises in advising individuals and their families on a broad range of private client matters.

Anna MacLeod has advanced to Senior Solicitor having been with the firm since 2017. Anna qualified in 2015 and works in Murray Beith Murray’s Rural Property team, specialising in the purchase and sale of farms, forestry and sporting estates.

Sally Pugh has also ascended to Senior Solicitor. Sally joined Murray Beith Murray’s Property group in September 2018, having received her solicitor qualification in August 2016. She advises on all areas of commercial property including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, refinancing and renewables.

These promotions within Murray Beith Murray follow the recent appointment of Partners, Andrew Linehan and Bill Meldrum within the Property group and highlight the firm’s ongoing commitment to this core service area.

Murray Beith Murray’s Senior Partner, Hugh Younger, said:

“We recognise the importance of having the best people with the right experience and expertise to deliver the highest standards of service to our clients. These promotions are well-deserved and recognise the contribution these individuals make in helping Murray Beith Murray meet the legal, financial and administrative needs of individuals and families, family trusts, charities and private companies.”
