With 31 October fast approaching there is renewed demand among Indigo’s clients and networks to discuss what’s happening and hopefully understand where things might be heading for Scotland. That’s why we have arranged a special Indigo Insights event to look at these questions in more detail from the perspective of one of Scotland’s true Brexit authorities, Ken Thomson.

As Director General, Constitution and External Affairs, Ken is the most senior civil servant with responsibility for leading and supporting the work of First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and her Cabinet on intergovernmental relations, EU exit and constitutional issues, including the question of Scotland’s place in the UK.

Ken has kindly agreed to be interviewed by our Executive Chairman Jacqui Low about what “being ready” for Brexit means, what the last three years have done to relationships between Scottish Government and the UK Government, and what we might expect could happen next.

As with all our Insights events, this is a unique opportunity for guests to get beneath the skin of an important topic with a speaker of unparalleled knowledge of the issues at hand. A full Q&A discussion will be facilitated on the day.

IMPORTANT NOTE: To facilitate a full and open conversation, the event will take place under the Chatham House Rule and no recordings will be permitted at any time.
