Crisis Planning

It may sound a bit of an oxymoron to talk about "crisis planning", but as with everything else in life, there's no harm in expecting the unexpected. Whilst you can't plan for every eventuality, there are processes and structures you can have in place should a crisis arise to enable you to hit the ground running.

Indigo can help you create a Crisis Communications Plan to sit alongside any crisis or business continuity plan you may already have for your organisation.

Underpinning that plan is all the documentation you will need to ensure that staff (and external parties if necessary) know what to do when something happens. Given that most crises happen out of working hours, we can also create support materials to be kept off site at the homes of key members of staff.

So if the worst happens, with Indigo's support, you will be prepared for the early stages of the crisis, with draft outline press releases, media contacts and other essential background material to hand. You'll know who your spokesmen are (and will have had them trained to handle such an eventuality). Even better, you won't waste valuable time making decisions about media-related issues that should have been agreed in advance.
